Dr. Kristi Vaughan is a licensed and board-certified Doctor of Chiropractic, Functional Medicine Practitioner, Nutrition expert and Applied Kinesiologist.
Dr. Vaughan discovered Chiropractic, Nutrition and Applied Kinesiology in 2000, after being referred to Dr. Lee by her human resources employer, because of a scheduled tonsillectomy surgery. Dr. Vaughan knew intuitively, her tonsils were there for a reason and felt the surgery was intrusive and aggressive, while searching for other options. Dr. Vaughan soon began working with this doctor, treating patients, attending nutrition and applied kinesiology seminars. She quickly realized this was her passion and purpose, after loosing her passion for years due to a knee injury that affected her scholarship and playing competitive sports.
Later Dr. Vaughan moved to California in 2004 and immediately started working with a few doctors that treated patients with the same philosophy, of getting to the root cause of the disease. Dr. Vaughan realized that although she had achieved her Bachelor Degree from Reinhardt College in 1998 and was working with patients, she wanted to go back to school to become a Doctor of Chiropractor, enrolling in Southern California University of Health Sciences.
Dr. Vaughan has acquired extensive training in both Eastern and Western Medicine allowing her to take a thorough evaluation and to offer a specifically designed treatment plan for each patient. Her goal is to find the underlying cause of her patient’s symptoms and disease. She is persistent with her goal’s, therefore, she is consistently attending seminars on the latest research, nutrition and techniques. Her philosophy is that health is achieved by evaluating the three sides of health, which are structure, chemical and emotional. Dr. Vaughan’s passion is to educate, empower and inspire you to health and vitality.
